Microsoft says that the only real way to get better parity write performance in Storage Spaces is to use Mirror-Accelerated Parity (MAP). However, this requires Storage Spaces Direct. But I keep reading it can be used on normal Storage Spaces.

Does anyone know if MAP can in fact be used on standard Storage Spaces, and if so, how to enable it? OS will be Server 2019 DC.
