We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

Has anybody used one of these? Are they as simple to use as the manufacturer suggested? CPU mag has a write-up and thinks so.

I just hope somebody here had actually used one, so I can get a first-hand account on how it works.

www.mirra.com is their site ...

it's alittle expensive, just keep a data cd in the burner soo you can just backup your files.

the automatic backup is nice... however you can get a 120 gb HDD and run a small proggy to do the same thing on the same puter for 1/3 the price. Do what I did 1 1/2 years ago. Get a IDE controler and have some fun (see specs below)

As the page says:

Mirra is a very cool product for the tech-unsavvy user.

not for the rest of us.

exactly ... this is not for me, it's for a lawyer friend who is always travelling ... if this thing works as advertised, and as reviewed by CPU mag, I can set it up behind a firewall for security, and still be accessed through a web browser ...
