I'm looking at buying my first LCD monitor around Christmas when I can hopefully get one on a special or something. Anywho...for FPS games what would be the absolute slowest response time be for the best performance/cost? I heard Dell makes good LCD's with good times, but I was just wondering. Thanks.
 
well dont go with viewsonic, im not really sure about good ones, i know for a fact LGs are good for gaming, viewsonic's refresh rate SUCKS.
 
id say anythign 16ms or less i have the 20.1 inch from dell and love it.
 
i have an hp 2035, uses the same LG panel as dell and many other 20 inchers. 16ms is great. While I admit, its not as good as say, a 21 inch trinitron crt, it is more than adequate for gamers.
