Hi All,

I'm looking to build a small general purpose PC for my bro. I'll be ordering the parts this weekend. He doesn't need a much storage as he has a NAS. His current PC has given him nothing but trouble over the last couple of months. He will mainly be using the internet and Media usage. He tends to rip CD's to flac and store on his NAS for playback though his sound system. The PC will be going though a DAC before it gets to the amp, so I don't think a sound card will be needed.

I usually build gaming PC's so this is my first small build. The parts and prices I have got from amazon UK. Does anyone have other recommendations?

CPU: AsRock FM2A88X-ITX+ £70.87
MB: AMD APU A8 6500 £69.99
RAM: Corsair 2x2GB £39.51
HDD: Kingston V300 120GB £47.47
Drive: Sony BD-7300 Blu-Ray Writer £48.91
Case: Antec ISK300-150 £68.76

Total: £345.51

The case comes with a 150watt supply, which I think should cover the A8 6500 as its TDP 65watt.

I'm going to install Linux Mint+XBMC, I know he has a copy of windows 8, if he would prefer windows.

I know my budget is thigh but any advice would be much appreciated
