so xfi extremem music to reciver? so jsut a mini plug to rca? will i get 5.1 with this as i am setting up an htpc and in need of more info

no, you won't get 5.1.
To get true surround, you will either need to use digital with some software DTS passthrough for DVD watching, or need to use analog with 3 mini to RCA cables if im not mistaken.

Does your receiver have a "multi channel" analog input? Sometimes called an Ext. Input.

yes there is ext input thnx so much i was like wtf are these lol any ways from computer 3 sets of mini>rca and into those correct with the coresponding front center rear. :D

In English, please?

for movies, with my audigy 2 ZS, well I use to, but I got a dvd player now.. but anyways, I use the digital out on my audigy with an RCA with a mini plug adaptor ( 1/8 ) to the receiver coax input... using powerdvd, I get DD5.1 in movies and such, but not in games unless I use analog or the game supports DD natively.
