Remember the Sony Minidisc? Well I was just wondering if any one here has heard of a drive for the computer that can be used for data storage rather than music.....?

http://www.minidisc.org/md_data_table.html is a link for MD data drives that use the older style of md data discs (around 140 mb I believe) but these are really obscure and hard to get a hold of, there are also multi-track mini disc audio recorders that have their own special md media. I believe that the new HiMD units have the same capabilities as a usb jump drive if you are wanting music + data on a single MD. They can use the old style audio MDs and reformat them for double the capacity (380 mb) or use the new HiMD discs (1g I think)
