Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0

I have recently purchased two of these mice and both of them have the same problem. I use it for gaming, considering the fact that right on the box it says "used by a majority of LAN gamers" or something along this line so I figured to give the ma try. I love the feel of the mouse but they randomly make me do certain things in game that i shouldn't do.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a fix for this? I tried downloading the driver from the website instead of the cd that was included and it didn't seem to help at all.

If anyone knows where to get the earlier version of the 3.0 intellimouse please shoot me a pm. Thanks in advance..

Im sorry i do not know the fix to your problem.
Tried another USB Port? Maybe its the usb port drivers?

But i love this mouse, have used gaming mouses such as the g5 or diamonback and i still keep coming back to it :)
Usefull in counter strike, i like that its a bit slow
my style :D
