Hi All,
I am testing SBS 2011 using HyperV 2008r2 as we have the SBS 2011 Premium Add-on.
Server hardware as follows:
6core 1.9GHz CPU
32GB DDR3 Ram
PERC H710
X 2 RAID 1 15K 300GB SAS - Hyperv Host
X 6 RAID 10 15K 600GB SAS - For VM's / Storage
The ultimate question I have is........ In line with best practice what would be the most efficient way of serving files from the SBS2011 VM to the network users? Create separate VHD's or???
Usually (Physical) I would have a separate array for the DATA volume of the SBS server, and share that out to the network.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Sam
