I want to record my X360 gameplay with my capture card and get my own chat audio. I can do this with X-Split (application) by connecting my mic to my PC, but it seems like the delay between capturing hdmi video and the mic continually gets larger the longer you record.

So my solution would be to plug the mic directly into the capture card (L/R RCA in). But the signal from the mic isn't strong enough so my voice is very low. Is there a relatively cheap Microphone Amp out there that I could use to make the mic output much louder?
 
no. but i know that what you need is a microphone pre amp. that seemed to be a cheap one with decent reviews.
