I kno that i cant use aluminium for a res as its too prone to corrosion of the wc block.
havent a clue where i would get this from... but! How would a nice big copper tube do with Sealed ends and barbs mounted on either side?

...Out to pump........................................................In From rad

Has anyone tried this? Would it work? Flow would be...
Pump>CPU>Rad>Res

The excess heat would be dissipated by the rad before getting chilled by a pelt.

Sorry for bad drawing. first attempt at trying to draw sumthin in these things. Im sure u get where im comin from tho

I think the temps would be very minimal compared to the extra costs, but I would be very interested to see how well it performs since your using the pelt to cool the reservoir...I'm assuming this would be an external mount...i'm sure the costs would be rather high since you would have to use something like 300+ watt pelt, plus the cost of the copper, plus an enormous monthly electric bill
:D

Ok my current temps are 30C load with no aditional cooling other than 1/4"ID tubing POS TT bigwater. Even with an 80W pelt cooling the res in a slow flow system i think im gonna come out ok.
Costs of materials is a minor (dad works for specialist heat transfer company. 5" circle of copper is puney!)
