Memory water block advise

I have recently (few days ago) started constructing my water cooling system. I am making my own water blocks. Alrdy have designs rdy for cpu and north bridge block. Going to go buy metal tomorrow and have them finished hopefully by Friday. However still haven't come up with a solid memory block. Searched on the internet for a design, but couldn't find anything. Just looking for some advise on how i should make it.

I was thinking about making one similar to innvotech one execpt out of copper.

From my experience back when I was looking to watercool everything in my case, it became clear that hard drives and memory were two things that just don't make sense to try and put a block onto. It is going to better for the memory and the loop overall to just have a low speed fan blowing over the memory. The designs out there, like the one you linked to (I think, the direct link wouldn't work for me), are all just a bit of water flowing over some side plates - this results in very little surface area for actual heat transfer. Finally, let's face it - ram just isn't running as hot as the overvolted DDR days.

Now that I've expressed why I think it's a bad idea, I'll make my recommendation in case you have your heart set on this. If you're doing this for looks, have fun; but for performace I'd like to see a block on each side of the stick with a straight channel going along it vs the standard plate on each side with a block stuck on top. This of course is problematic as sticks of ram are generally very close together - if you are using only two sticks you might have room to work out a shared block between them when one considers the offset arrangement of dual channel.

Hopefully someone else will chime in on this, I'm certainly no expert, just done some homework. Whatever you end up doing, make sure to take pics and post a worklog, custom blocks are always fun :)
