System: 2 PIII 933's, 2G PC133 ram, 4 sticks. CPU temps in open-air are about 80 degrees F, but the chips on the sticks are averaging about 130 degrees F. Is this normal? Seems to me it wouldn't be, and I've had many problems with this setup crashing and locking. No room for ram coolers, but should I at least get some air moving across the sticks?

My ram chips seldom even get warm, let alone hot. If you are worried about your ram being the problem, run memtest86 from http://www.memtest86.com/ . To run it select all tests and then restart the tests (to enable that option) Then let it run for 12-24hrs continuously. This will let you know very easily by the number of errors. If the ram is stable you will have NO errors at all not even one. If it is not you may see a few or you may see thousands.
