I have 1 gig of patriot ram running in dual channel at 2.5 4 4 7. I have another 512 of pny ram that runs at 2.5 4 4 8 (prolly can do 7 but dunno). Granted that they are compatable at all, will adding this stick affect my patriot performance? For instance (obviously it would slow the 7 to an 8 but thats fine) would it mess with the 2 patriots dual channel speeds? Like slow it to all 3 single channel? Any help appreciated thx.
