hi all , GUESS WOT!?!?!

sumary: 64mb sdram pre-installed
wanted 512mb sdram
BUT couldnt as only 2 slots that could only recognise supposedly 128mb sdram in each slot...(stated by HP) therefore max of 128mb * 2 sticks = 256mb

but wot happend?!?!= well i put 256mb kingston ram in it... IT WORKS>> wooohooooooooooo >> now im gona try 512 in it if i can get it cheap :D

before: 64mb + 64mb
currently: 256mb + 64mb
next step: 256mb + 512mb :D
hell to support, they dno wot they talkin aobut... made me waste money on smaller capacity ram ... any one wana buy 64mb sdram, cl2, 100mhz ram off me... seems to be a compaq brand.. £5 + shipping ok!
 
yeah i threw a stick of 256 in my 810 too and it worked. could be a specific version of 810 or something?
