I have my athlon 64 3500 winchester oc'd at 220mhz fsb 1.5125 v, 11x , my kingston value ram dual channel 1gb, is oc'd to 2.5 3-3-6 but left at 200 mhz, should I oc my ram to 220 mhz to match my fsb, or is ddr 400 200mhz RAM good up to 240fsb.

Or should i just buy better ram

I'm trying to achieve at least 230-235 htt on my athlon.
I was thinking of lowering the hyper thread to 4x, and setting the htt to around 230 -235 but keeping xplier at 11x. Or is it not good to lower the hyper thread and keeping everything at default and just adjust the htt. I cant seem to get past 220htt with the stock settings. I guess im asking how I can give myself more headroom to increase the htt.

anyone have any suggestions?

Keep the hyperthread under 1000mhz always. If you overclock at all always lower the multiplier to 4x at least. If you go over 250 fsb then lower it to 3x.

Do you know what a ram divider is? Because if you didn't use one then your ram is automatically running at your fsb speed. If you do know how to use a ram divider, then yes, it doesn't matter much what your ram is running at. RAM can technically go up to any speed you put your fsb at, but it won't be stable too high up.

Usually you will have to relax your ram timings if you OC your ram. If you leave your ram at 200 mhz via a divider, then keep your timings the same.

It is probably your ram holding you back b/c it is actually at that speed and can't take more than 220mhz at those timings. With an Athlon64 system, it is better to leave your ram at stock speeds and keep the tight timings.

It could be your voltage though. 1.5125 is like .0125 above stock for a winnie I think. Try slowly raising it (by like .0125 or .025 increments) ONLY when it seems you can't go any higher with your fsb. You should be able to go higher with a higher voltage.
