Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
There is a FAQ in strictly Intel about this. you need Mushkin Level II black RAM, with the BH-5 chips. You have CH-5. It doesn't work well on the 875/865 at 5:4.
i tryed my kingston hyperx KHX4000/512 and i still couldnt get it to work it says that the voltge is 2.6 i tryed 2.7 and it didnt help.
my timing it 8/3/3/3
Are you running a FSB > 200 with the memory ratio turned down so the memory runs at 200mhz?
If so, you need Mushkin Level II Black. Nothing else will work, unless you find other BH-5 based memory somewhere (good luck). It's a problem with the Chipset.
I've had the same issue man. It's annoying as all hell.
240 - WALL, 239 fine.
I somehow managed to get mine to 251 bootable once and 248 stable. But when I switched from stock HSF to Vantec Aerocool, I couldn't obtain that. It was quite weird. It automaticly hit a wall at 240.
But I *was* running my memory in single channel mode (2x512 in channel 1) at the time, so who knows if that had something to do with it. Because I switched that to dual channel as soon as I switched the HSF.
