If you take 30 seconds to read the label on the hard drive i'm guessing that is what it's going to say as all the seagates are that way and they own maxtor brand. You'll notice maybe a 1-2% difference which isn't really even measurable as sata 1 doesn't come close to maxing out the 150megs.
