Does anyone have any personal experience with Maxtop cases, specifically this Twilight series case?

I have no idea about that case, but I've built about a dozen systems over the past year or two with these other Maxtop cases...

and they're all still running today.

Great basic case with modding capabilities. They all have a removeable motherboard tray. From looking at the pictures, I don't think the one you are interested in has the removeable tray.

An aquaintance had good luck with his initial few, then ordered about a hundred for his business, and about 1/3 of them had PSU failures inside of a year. So if you do get one, grab a good PSU. I will say that NONE of the systems I have personally had a hand in have had ANY power supply issues. It sure seems like a decent PSU to me, but I figured I'd put his experience out there for another datapoint.

I just completed a system with the Powermax case you can find here from Newegg. It looks pretty similar so I'm assuming that they are from the same manufacturer. I don't have a removable motherboard tray per se but the case itself is everything you'd expect for the price. I especially like the carry handle at the top! The metal is pretty thin but once you get most of the components installed the system gets a bit more sturdy.

Thanks for the help. Though a removeable mobo tray would be sweet, I don't think it would be that important. I really like the Twilight case. It only has a 3-star rating so I was wondering if anyone here had some personal experience with them.

if you get\got that case, cut out the mesh in the fan bays, it REALLY restricts airflow.

Hmm, thanks for the heads up. I haven't gotten it yet as I'm still waiting for school to end for the summer and see how my funds are. I was curious about the mesh as well, as most cases I've seen don't have that. Another case I was looking at was this Codegen case. It looks like a G5 case though.

Ultimately, I'm looking to replace my PowerSpec that I bought two summers ago with a sweet computer (funds-limiting) that will last me good while, both aethetically and technologically.

I've browsed all the cases on newegg and tried browsing other sites, but no one matches newegg's accesibility to information and pictures. A big problem I am finding is that the best cases for airflow and cooling are also the least appealing.

Any suggestions?

I *KNOW* codegen PSUs are crap. 3 people I know built systems using them, and 6 to 18 months later, all had new PSUs because the codegen ones crapped out. Not to mention the specs on them suck wind.

Cases themselves worked fine though.

Oh I know. No matter what case I get, I'm gonna replace the PSU with an Antec. I'm just looking for a nice-looking case that is strudy and has good airflow and colling.
