So the other day i went to my friends house to install his new mobo/cpu. The first thing that i noticed when i opened up his case was that he had three hard drives and one optical drive. The first two hds were in the primary master and primary slave. The third hd was in secondary slave while the optical drive was in secondary master......
From what i remember, a hard drive should never be a slave to an optical drive right???? Now what i want to do is install his new mobo/cpu but make that third hard drive a secondary master and make the optical drive a secondary slave without formating it.(its a storage drive, it has 120gbs worth of music, movies). Is this possible without affecting anything????
thanks in advance
