Just curious if it's possible through software or something to remap the right speakers to function as the front and the left speakers to function as the rear (in a 5.1 system).
I do realize that I can just redo the wiring [or shift all 5 speakers around] but I want to know if there is a software solution. Reason being is that I would like to have my television share my PC speakers, but my television is to the right of me and so the speakers are 90 degrees out of alignment with the TV. And there's no room to have my TV facing the same direction as my computer.
Any way to somewhat easily accomplish this? Or am I screwed?
