Make shared calendar main calendar?

Is there any way to make a shared exchange calendar the MAIN calendar for a bunch of users? I want to be able to sync a bunch of iPod touches with a shared calendar(which cannot be done), so I would like to make the shared calendar these users' main default calender.

Can this be done?

none that I know of.
Only personal calendars can be a user's default, and only the user's default can be shared (yes I know this last part isn't relevant to your situation).
