Hey.

I'm working on a PC,
Intel D845EBG2 Mobo and NVIDIA GeForce Ti4200 AGP8x
I just finished installing WinXp Pro, and a few programs.

But,
as soon as I put the Forceware driver from Nvidia's site and rebooted, when it tried to boot back to the Welceom screen, the screen would flicker [Loose signal] and take a hell of a long time booting up.
it seems to pause the CPU some how... the mouse moves around fine...

I have not idea what to do.

my only idea is that the Vid card is AGP8x an the mobo [i think]
is only AGP4x

Please i don't knwo what to do.

if you got windows XP, uninstall the gfx card drivers, and use the default xp ones just for the time being. If all is fine, then get the Nvidia detornator drivers and install them.
