Macbook vSphere Lab

No, I meant vSphere Client. Stand alone client for free esxi hypervisor. I don't have a vcenter server.

Does anyone know where or how to get the Netapp VSA?

It friggen sucks though if you plan to actually store anything on it. I remember having to do all sorts of stupid little hacks to even get it up to the 50~ gb range. Granted it is useful for just pissing around with commands, but that's about it.

I just use the built in NFS capabilities on my MBP now for lab stuff, one less appliance to suck up resources.

Ya know never even thought of that..how's performance..

Next time I'm running a large workload I'll run top and see what comes up for nfsd. Going out on a limb to say it's a hell of a lot better than running a separate appliance.
