M500 compatible with Z87?

Anyone tried this? It's not showing up on Intels list of compatible drives, so I am afraind to purchase (don't have the MB yet)
 
Why wouldn't it be? For it to not be compatible, Crucial, one of the most competent SSD makers, would have to violate very well-known SATA standards, and if they did, there would be megathreads all over the internet about the issue.

The only SSDs that aren't compatible with Z87 are old ones from 2010, using 1200 and 1600 series SandForce controllers, and the brand-new m500 line is certainly not one of those.
 
We have them running in Haswell server boards with no issues (C224), for what it's worth.
