I have a Rampage V. I just installed a new Samsung 960 EVO m.2 I installed windows 10 with no problem. Here is problems. CrystalDisk does not see it, Samsung Magician just shows space on it but no options to update firmware or health. Defraggler shows it as a hdd. I am running latest bios.
I would guess it is a setting in bios. I installed latest chipset driver.

Will keep trying to download it. It says Samsung has reached it download limit.
Thanks.

Good to know...ill need to check mine...dont ever remeber installing drivers

Windows will install the generic MS one by default, which works, but for "peak performance" I think the Samsung driver is recommended.

I just installed the latest Samsung driver 2.1 and same thing. CrystalDisk does not see it. When I go into device manager
and select ssd and go into properties to check driver version it still shows microsoft driver from 2006.

thats weird i just updated mine and all seems to be good.
