Hey,
I have a LiteOn LTC-48161H and it won't read my DVD's. It burns and reads CD's fine but just lately I tried to play a DVD for the last time in awhile and it will either not even read that a disc is in drive or it will give an error when trying to run in Power DVD. I've tried several discs. I have the latest ASPI drivers and firmware upgrade.

Could be the ASPI drivers. It's kinda funny that people still think they need to install ASPI drivers in XP. I'd try to remove them and start over. Solved this problem on many systems by removing the ASPI drivers.
