LSI SAS issue???

For some reason my 8408E LSI RAID card sees my (3) Fujitsu MAV2036RC drives as being 16GB instead of 36. What gives?? I don't even know where to start, any ideas?
 
That is strange indeed.

In fact, I have a couple controllers set up with those exact hard drives and they show up as the correct 36GB size. The difference I can think of is that I'm not using a RAID controller, I just have a straight-up SAS1068 controller (whereas the 8408 board uses the 1068 behind an IOP/PCI-E bridge and is additionally running the MegaRAID firmware stack).

So my question for you is, where is this size being reported incorrectly. Specifically, does everything agree that they are 16GB? That is, the MegaRAID configuration BIOS, Windows Device Manager, Windows Storage Management (or the equivalent for whatever OS you are using).

Do you have a RAID array defined with those drives, or are you using them individually?
