Low refresh 17-19" Widescreen LCD Monitors?

Anyone know of absolutely any low refresh widescreen monitors in the 17" to 19" inch range? I've only found a handful that are even widescreen and they are all 25ms.

I'm thinking about getting the 19" 12ms Sony, but I want to make one last effort for widescreen if possible. It kind of amazes me that widescreen is not a bigger deal on PCs as most new games support the resolution and DVD-ROMs being standard.

So...anyone out there with any suggestions before I plop down $800 for an old standard?
 
I have not seen many widescreen 17"-19" monitors, it doenst really make sense to make them widescreen.
 
I think the widescreen LCDs are ripoff.


They are usually the same price as 4:3 screens (in many cases even more expensive) and you get LESS resolution!
