Hi, guys, I am looking for quiet 80mm case fans, any suggestions are very welcome.
 
the adjustable enermaxes are good, you dial in the speed you want, your done
 
if your willing to get a fan controller you can run the panaflo high speed fan and adjust to acceptable speed but have peace of mind of being able to turn it up
only issue with the enermaxes is if you go below a certain speed they start clicking but thats crazy slow
you said low noise which suggests that your not going for complete silence but somthing thats still respectable air flow wise

cant find the ones with the speed control on a wire, they used to be on newegg but there gone, perhaps discontinued

if its not compatible the vga silencer is good too, i belive there is a x300 version

i dont see the x300 listed for cards the ati silencer works on, maybe its as simple as the zm80d-hp but i wouldnt have you buy it unless i was sure it was compatible
 
a quick google and it looks like its compatible, be prepared for a ~1 hour installation i used to cool my 5950 ultra with the zm80d-hp, its a good cooler
the x300 looks like a 9800 in card design, i would be surprised if it wasnt compatible a website i found said it is, and the heat plates are raised up pretty high so it will clear whatever caps you have on there

I checked Zalman, it is for AGP cards, mine is PCI Express
 
no difference, they both use push pins no? the only difference is the technology the motherboard and card uses, nothing is physically different, same goes with pci express 6800's, both agp and pci-e are exactly the same physically except for the sli plug and traces
