Low 3Dmark Score w/ 9800XT

AMD64 3200+
Shuttle FN85 (SFF system) mobo
ASUS A9800XT
1GB Corsair XMS PC3200LL @ 2-3-2-6
120GB Maxtor ATA133 HDD

All BIOS and drivers are up to date, yet still getting rediculously low scores. I used to get 10,000s before most recent format but I havn't been able to even scratch the 8000 mark since no matter how I config the system.

Not sure if my temps may be affecting performance but I get no artifacts, and my shuttle has a blowhole keeping it at a stable 40C idle and 55C under full load. Side panel has also been mod'd for better exhaust for the vid card.

I'm really get sick of all of these "Is my 3dMark score low?" questions!! :p

You DID NOT get 10,000 with 3dmark2003! That about where you should be in the 6000 range. I cant even imagine you getting close to 8000.

I wish on 3dMark2003, they had the links for 3d accelerater & CPU comparison like they do under 3dMark2001. So you know exactly where you stand in a percentile rank for your sytem.
 
You talking about 3d mark 03 or 01? Cuz I had 9800 Pro and I only got 5300 with it. So you should be getting about ~7000

My 6800GT does 11k, your card cant do 11k. Probably only half.
 
thanks guys.. i was probably getting confused with 2001 version... my bad ;)
 
I get 7200 With my System so id say your about on par
considering it really only tests the videocard
