Loop Order...Does it matter?

When I'm arrangin my tubing to flow to one heatsink to the other...does it really matter which one it goes to first since the water temp pretty much reaches an equalibrium? For example, if I wanted to, could I go from start flow from the rad to the mobo chipset first and then go to the CPU?
 
you can put it in any order you want [i usually put the cpu first to squeeze out every last bit of performance] the water temp should only rise 1C in each block, plus the NB don't make much heat [why there are passive heatsinks for them]
 
It really doesn't matter as long as you don't put something highly restrictive in front of the pump inlet (like an impingement CPU block for instance) especially with a loop with a res in it.

For some reason the res allows the fluid a chance to slow down, or so it seems, as I tried to configure my loop with the res feeding into my rads and the rads feeding into the pump to lower the overall length of the tubing run and it totally killed the flow.

After switching it around to where the rads fed the res and the res fed the pump the problems went away.

Now on the T-line setup I just built the rad was right before the pump but it made no difference on the flow even with the 90* elbow I was forced to use on the pump's inlet.

Just another "Go figure" moment in the mod shop of horrors.
