I'm doing my yearly teardown, and I'm going to redo my loop using some lessons I've learned. I'd appreciate if anyone has anything to add.

1. Cable Management.
2. Move my reservoir/pump combo to the lowest 2 slots
3. Flip my radiator around and reroute the tubing to avoid that up and down portion from the thick radiator to the GPU

Any other suggestions?

Why are you putting your pump res/ at the bottom ? is there a reason other than routing (Curious here)

First is routing, but the other reason was that I have been told that pumps are happiest at the low point of a loop. Is this not true? I have a d5 variant.

honestly it doesnt matter in the end in my experience. Ive had my pumps on bottom, ive had my pumps on top, ive had them in the middle for all my various iterations .... and no performance difference....its either pushing or pulling fluid in a close loop.

Alright, I'll probably leave the res where it is then. Anything else I should (ir shouldn't) do?

I cant see anything wrong with it.. worst case if you do something funky on the loop order, your sacrificing a delta of 1 or 2 c probably
