Looking to build a new computer

The RC-690 will fit up to 314.9mm worth of vidcard. According to the product brochure, the 2nd advanced version will only fit 304mm. I believe the HD5970 is 309mm. I'm confused as to why they made the newer version smaller.

damn that sucks because that is an awesome case... are all the new graphics cards going to be the size of the 5970 or is it hard to tell?

The HD5970 is a dual GPU card. So, I'm guessing any new dual GPU cards will be around that size. IIRC, thats as big as they can get to remain within ATX spec.

It depends on how good your wire management skills are. There is no difference performance-wise between modular and non-modular PSUs.
