Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
If anyone know/has experience with an LED/LCD control panel that fits in a 3.5inch bay, can you please point me in the right direction. This would be for a linux box to modify some things like the systems IP address.
well i was going to recomend the sun beam one...until i read the thing i read about ipadresses. um i dont know any you can buy, but it would be super easy to make for your serial port(our modding faq has links), assumeing you could write the software
the PCB board is 80mm which is like 3.1496063 inches so it should fit nicely in a 3.5 bay drive
it is also 1.41732283 inches wide a 3.5 is 1" wide so it will need to take up alittle more room... but shouldnt be an issue if you have a HDD in the 2nd 3.5 slot, just dont puch the hdd in all the way and tighten the screws so it wont move... always put 4 screws in HDDs otherwise they can rattle when the read and write...
use LCDC or LCDsmartie (free) or what it comes with.... what ever is availabe in linix.... some one have done this before...
