I need a bench mark to find out some info for an HD

I need a bench mark that will tell me the minimal sustaned read of a drive, it also must be free or at least a trial version that will me what I wnat to know.

I know that if I sear I may find this information, however the target dirve is in a crappy system so I want to know just what it is doing.

What I'm trying to find is if the drive will sustan a minimal rate higher than that of the draw. I already think that for what the customer whats to do with the system he will need to go with a raid setup but I just want to make sure that the drive as it is now is causing a problem.

I've tried HD tach free but it didn't tell me what I wanted to know (unless I wasn't reading it correctly)
 
It can be synthetic, give me a bone people any thing that at least has a demo and will show sustained transfers.
 
you know what I forgot about that I think they did have that in there I'll get my old version and check it, thanks for reminding me.
