For dial-up users.
Is there a downloading utility that let's you download files in specific parts?
I'm on dial-up and as you guys probably know. It's waaay to slow to be able to download anything in the hundreds of megs. So what i'm thinking is to be able to chop it up into pieces and have another friend who also has a modem to download his share.
If a file is 100MB, shared between three other guys, each would only have to download 25MB. Then we'll simply have to append the files afterwards back into a whole file.
It's kinda like what Getright and Go!Zillais doing but saved into individual files.
Is there a program like that?
