Hi everyone,

I'm from Europe and I was wondering, if you could help me. I build PCs from used parts for friends and colleagues and I found out that in US are these parts much cheaper than in EU. Even with the duty and shipping. So, here is my question. Could you recommend me some forum or better someone, who sells used computer parts? I have no problem with buying these staff in bulk. Perfect would be someone, who sells them regualy. Don't you know about anyone/anything?

I doubt you'll find someone who sells pc parts regularly, unless they just like buying hardware and selling it for less.

There is a section on this forum called for sale/ trade.

but you do realize to get hardware from the us to europe it will have to be flown there? im sure that wont be cheap.

What he said. I would try to find someone that will be willign to ship it all the way to EU for you

what kind of PC's are we talking about? high performance? or is it for regular daily use?
 
I believe that specifically it is against the rules here to ask someone to be a reseller, but I'm sure someone might be able to help you out. It may be cost prohibitive though. Might have better luck buying from korea/china

Of course there are people, who sells these staff regularly. Mainly they use them for testing reasons (e.g. CPUs) and then they just sell them. Usually they have many of them and it is easier to sell all at once even for less. And than they are people who simply resell used PC parts, because they have connetion to warehouses or IT services and they got them very cheaply.

I know about the sale/trade section, but unfortunately I don't have enough posts yet.

And its not true that shipping must be expensive. I can also use sea transportation which actually very cheap. And with more bought parts it is even cheaper.

To pablopicasso:
I don't need someone, who will send me it to Europe. I can use shipitto or other similar company. It is an additional cost, but it is worth it.

I'm mainly interested high performace parts, because there is the biggest difference in price between EU and US. But if there is someone, who sells all kinds together, I don't have a problem with buying them all. I will have to simply sell the other parts extra.

You misunderstood me. I don't look for someone, who will buy me PC parts in US, pack them and then send them to Europe. I can easily do this myself from here and use for example shipitto. I'm looking for someone, who sells these parts regularly and sells more than just one. I know they exist, because I have already found one, but I don't know whether we make a deal, so I'm looking for others.

I've been already thinking about China, but finding someone in US is difficult and I know your language. I can't image how difficult it must be in China...
