The stock cooler on my processor is starting to malfunction a bit (every time i turn on my computer I have to manually get the fan spinning for the motor to catch) so I figure I may as well get an upgrade instead of a replacement. I've been looking around, and so many new things have come out since the last time I bought a cooler, I don't know what to look for. I'm not overclocking ATM, but if I can get a decent cooler, I'm probably gonna play a bit and see what I can do. Right now I've been looking at the Cooler Master Aquagate Mini 120mm (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835103165). All the reviews I've read rate it fairly high, but it's also at the very top end of how much I'm willing to spend.
Also semi-related, after reading that eVGA does not consider warrenties voided by 3rd party coolers and overclocking, I've decided to play with that as well. The new Arctic Cooling ones don't have the 7900GT listed, though they do have other 7800 and 7900 series cards, so I am unsure of what works. Any suggestions on either matter would be appreciated.
EDIT: http://www.pureoverclock.com/article635-2.html is the current stock cooler on my 7900GT. It also came with a factory overclock of 580/790, which judging from what I've been looking at is significantly above the regular 7900 GT speed (Yes, I'm somewhat of a nub, my computer's actually been working correctly so I haven't kept as up to speed as I should have since I built this thing)
