so i got my dell u3011 and im already use to the size of it. i want a bigger monitor now. looks like ill have to save up for 2 more.
 
Congrats and welcome to the 30" club. I know what you mean about getting used to it fast, whenever I visit my dad and look at my old 24" I gave to him I am amazed at how small it looks.
 
very nice!, I ran 3x30 for almost a year, it became more of a awe factor and a chore, honestly I am happier w. one 30
 
When I first got my U3011 I was 'almost' overwhelmed but I quickly overcame that feeling. Now between work and home I feel a huge void. I use dual 1680x1050 monitors at work and I still can't get over how tiny those screens seem compared to my 2560x1600 precious feels. It just feels so inefficient to use two inferior screens... feel like I'm almost wasting taxpayer's money! (enlisted in the Air Force)

at first i was like OMG this thing is huge ill never get use to using it. now i want bigger. LOl
 
I've got a Dell 3008WFP and a Dell 2707WFP- it's fantastic!
 
I just recently got a 30" (HP) and am having a bit of a time coping with the size. For many years i used a 42" Westinghouse LCD monitor as my primary display so dropping down to a 30" was a bit of a shock.

Even with the significant upgrade in quality and resolution.
 
I went from a Dell 2407 to my current 3008. At first, I was somewhat underwhelmed by the difference. As time went by, however, and I used smaller monitors at different jobs, it became very clear just how much nicer it is to have this big, beautiful 2560x1600 resolution on my desk, especially when gaming. :D
