No, not the ladybug or football mice.

Anyway, they are doing a large product refresh in case you missed it.

The MX1000 laser mouse is shipping on the 1st, some people have managed to buy it in store at some CompUSA locations already. Review and more details in this thread http://3dgpu.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=310&st=0

Logitech is releasing a new series of keyboard/mouse combos as well. LX300, LX500, and LX1000 series so far. The 500 is a blue/black color and the 501 is a white keyboard. The keyboards do not seem to be packaged witht he currently shipping 3, 5, or 700 series of cordless mice. The 501 is shipping from buy.com now.

Anyone have info on the different mice?

Well that mouse looks like a very good replacement for the MX700 for sure. I like the battery indicator.

I'm not sure what they were thinking on those keyboards though... When I started looking at them it appears that they have bunched the F keys and made them round, like the quick launch buttons. Personally I would find this very annoying as I use my F keys on a regular basis.

Maybe i'm wrong. The pictures arn't very good. Hopefully I am because other than that those boards look half decent.

I know I've really loved my Internet Navigator keyboard. Very well designed.

The LX500 and LX700 both have different key layouts on the side, F, and media keys.

Maybe it's just me. They new LX mice are kinda ugly. I'm so in love with my MX700. It would be difficult to find something different.

Ever since I wrote the review at 3dgpu.com, I've had over 8000 views and every mouse was bought up from Newegg, where I said I got mine from.

Jaybo - great review. I am one of the few people who find the MX700 a bit too small. I know - get a rat not a mouse. It will be interesting to see what the new mice look like with the LX combos. They seem to have a stand/base similar to the MX1000, but a different shape. Also the shipping design of the LX700 keyboard - if it is really different from the 500 series.

Hopefully there will be a LX1000 with the new laser mouse.

Thanks, you may be disappointed to know that the MX1000 is shorter than the MX700 though...

Is the back edge of the MX1000 low like the MX700 or higher? If I put my fingers in place on the MC700 then my palm trags a lot on the back edge. Microsoft mice have a higher back edge which is nice, but not as great of a design other than that.
