I've been using the Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000 for over 10 years but decided to buy the G203 (wired) today from Amazon ($28)...I'm usually not into fancy gaming mice with a million buttons, crazy DPI settings, blinking lights all over etc...all I need are 5 mouse buttons and that it feels good in my hand...even the G203 is a little fancier then I like but it gets excellent reviews so I decided to give it a go...plus the lights can be disabled and even enabled they are not too crazy
I was deciding between the G203 and the Razer DeathAdder Elite which seems to be the 'best' gaming mouse...but the Razer seemed a bit too big, too expensive and was overkill with all the fancy 'gaming' features (16000 DPI etc)
