Hi, i've been using an 80g WD for a while, it got filled so i bought a WD 120g hdd to toss in as a slave. The problem is, the bios detects the new HDD, but windows doesnt. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? And yes im sure the jumpers are correct.

Yes, you have to assign a drive letter and format the drive. Rightclick on My Computer and choose manage...or go to the manuf. website and download their install tools.
 
I never use the install tools :p
dont see the point of adding an extra interface that could go wrong

Start > Run > (type) diskmgmt.msc > RClick unallocated space > partition and format

(it should be automatically initialized already)
