No idea what model this drive is but it's a 40x12x48x cdburner. I've had it for little over a year and for the past week the Red light on the drive remains on. It still reads cds fine but when I try to burn a cd the program I use just freezes. The red light comes on as soon as I boot the computer so it's not just a Windows thing. Time to buy a new drive maybe??? Or anybody have solution?
 
Also, i've tried different programs and different cds. Nero just freezes. Alcohol 120% says there is no disc and just sits there.
