Hey all,
I have a Lite-on ltr-40125s 40x burner and i never had any problems with it, but every now and then it decides it doesnt want to recognise cds as being blank. Any ideas on what might be causing this. Nothing gets changed just all of a sudden when i put a blank cd-r in the drive the autoplay for XP doesnt pop up and nero wont let me burn to it. Im runnin xp pro with all the updates. There never seems to be a consitant way to fix the problem either, sometimes it works by deleting the drive in device manager and restarting, other times i have to unplug it start up delete it restart then reinstall it, sometimes reflashing the firmware works....its driving me crazy and was hoping someone had an idea of how to fix it.
