List of Linux compatible hardware

Hi all,

I'm new to Linux; is there a list out there of peripherals supported with Linux drivers, specifically DVD writers? Also, is there a DVD Writer out there that would work on a PII350 or 400?

You need to pick a distribution, and then view it's individual requirements. Also, there's a subforum for Linux that will bring you better advice then this section (which is typically just Windows-related).
