short of liquid nitrogen( like my plastic tubing could take it LOL) is there anything to use better than distilled water(deionized)? is. liquid kryptonite.... or maybe sub-zero's blood... etc... any suggestions welcome :p

Distilled != De-ionized

I can't stresst that enough. Not the same. Don't use de-ionized, use distilled.

And to answer your Q: Not really, adding WW or a similar lubricant will help, but nohing amazing(2-3C drop under load). Adding iodine or another anti-algae agent just kills the green stuff soon to be living in your w/c rig if you didn't use any.

Stick with distilled, use a water chiller and/or pelt(s) if you want colder temps.

Adding Jet Dry will break the surface tension of the water and make in 'wetter' just like Water Wetter but just doesn't stink :p I tried both in my W/C rig and got the same temps.....

I would use bleach instead of jet dry. jet dry contains fragrances and might harm your pump or copper in the blocks or rad.

Probably wouldn't hurt anything, but I would be safer instead.

Edit: Yes Watter Wetter stinks like a$$. It is a component in the "red stuff" kind of anti-freeze(ie - dexcool brand). It smells like antifreeze.

ok, thats what i thought about distilled / deionized and i was told that was wrong by my step bro ( trying to get his pharmacy degree, and im worried cause chem is a big part of that lol) but yes, sounds good to me. i got some..........Zerex Racing Super Coolant... any good? thanks for the suggestions though
