Linksys RTP300 vs. WRT54GL

Is the WRT54GL a better/secured router than RTP300?

I'm wondering if firewall and other security features on WRT54L (with or without Tomato) are worth reason to sell off my RTP300?

At the moment I do not need wireless option and I do not use VOIP on my RTP300.

In my opinion their firewalls are pretty close the the same. The main differences are the phone option for VOIP on the RTP300, and wireless on the WRT54L.

I had a RTP300 and it sucked for torrents, had to reboot it all the time. I'd keep the WRT54GL and put DD-WRT on it. Seems to me that the RTP300 doesn't work as well with DD-WRT.

Roughly the same processor speeds and amount of memory.
Security won't be different...both do basic NAT and basic SPI
wrt54gl advantage...it has wireless
wrt54gl advantage...it can take more 3rd party firmware like X-WRT, DD-WRT, or Tomato...and give you little better performance over stock firmware.

thanks guys, so I guess if I use it for 'some' torrents I should go for wrt54gl
