LimeWire countersuit dismissed

I'm a little surprised that centralized P2P apps like Limewire have stayed in business for so long.

Between Limewire, Bearshare, and Kazaa I spend forever taking spyware off people's computers. These programs need to go away. Thank god Newsgroups are too difficult for the average pc user or the RIAA might be coming after something I actually use!;)

Yea, advertising that signing up will give you access to millions of MP3s and allowing you to post your own music files, is kind of stupid and just asking for a lawsuit.

Just do away with binaries and it fixes the problem and you can still use text based newsgroups.

Limewire though isn't too bad actually when it comes to spyware and adware its just that people don't scan the files they are dling for malicious software.

Usenet used to be great but I quit using it as well as p2p. The main reason is that I really like the Amazon mp3 service. It is affordable and the music is very good quality (256) with no DRM.

I would encourage everyone to give it a try. It is a legit service that meets all my requirements and I really like it.
