I want to mod my own glowpad powered by USB but unsure if my LEDs are able to.
I know that USB supplies 5v (and a max of 500 mA) and my LEDs are rated at 3.5v Max (4000mcd @ 30ma) so I know that I'll want to run them in parallel so if I'm using four to six LEDs could I safely slide on not using a resistor (I just don't have one handy) and would anyone know if I would be able to put a switch on it to turn the lights on and off?
Sorry, I'm just really green when it comes to some of this stuff.
