Hey everyone,

I have the Lian Li PC 65 and it came with 4 80mm. They are a little too loud for me and I'm wondering if I could put some 120s in it to quiet my pc down, is it possible? Thanks

I would try some quiter 80mm fans before modding it for 120mm fans - would be a lot easier

yeah or get a fan controler (either automatic or manual...) before you start hackin up your case.

but if you are determined to do it, it can be done. its pretty easy, you can just cut a bigger hole..

My sig is my first build. I took out the stock fans and put in some much quiter Enermax fans, with the plan to get a fan controller, like the Vantec Nexus, sometime later. The intake fans have the speed control, but the two exhaust don't.

120mm fans would be a pretty extensive job. You could perhaps start with modding another 80mm in the rear under the existing one. I've read that another 80mm will fit, but I don't know personally.

There are very quiet 80mm fans with good CFM. My two intake fans in the front are very quiet even with the speed control on the highest setting.
